Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance and changes
By creating an account, accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
We may update these Terms. The new version is published on this page with a new “Last updated” date; for material changes we will notify you in the application or by email. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept them. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Service and withdraw your funds.
2. Definitions
- User / you: the person or entity that holds a YEDA account.
- Digital Assets: the cryptocurrencies and tokens supported by YEDA and listed in the application (for example Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, USDT and USDC on supported networks). The list and the supported networks can change.
- Wallet: the set of balances and blockchain deposit addresses assigned to your account.
- P2P: peer-to-peer trades between users, with crypto held in escrow by YEDA.
- Cards: virtual and physical payment cards offered through our issuing partner.
- KYC: “know your customer” identity verification.
3. Eligibility and restricted regions
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and have full legal capacity.
- You must not be subject to sanctions or listed on any sanctions or restricted-party list, and you must not be located in, or a resident of, a jurisdiction where the Service or digital assets are prohibited or where we are unable to lawfully offer them. We may restrict or refuse the Service in any country at our discretion or to follow the law.
- You may hold only one personal account unless we agree otherwise. You must not open accounts on behalf of others or allow others to use yours.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate, complete and current information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password, transaction PIN, verification codes and devices secure, and for everything done through your account. Enable two-factor authentication.
- YEDA will never ask for your password, PIN or verification codes. Do not share them, including with people who claim to be YEDA staff.
- Tell us immediately at support@miyeda.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may freeze the account to protect you.
5. Identity verification (KYC)
We are required to verify our users. No blockchain deposit address or wallet is issued, and no withdrawal, swap, P2P trade, fiat purchase or sale, or card can be used, until your identity verification is approved. You agree to provide genuine documents and to cooperate with additional checks (for example proof of address, source of funds, or repeat verification) when we ask. We may refuse, limit or reverse any service if verification fails, if information is false or inconsistent, or if the law requires it. Verified balances that existed before a re-verification request remain recorded on your account and become available again once you are verified.
6. The Service
- Wallet: holding supported Digital Assets, with deposit addresses generated for you after KYC.
- Buy / sell: exchanging fiat and crypto using payment methods available in your country.
- Swap: converting one supported Digital Asset into another at the rate shown at confirmation.
- P2P: trading directly with other users, with escrow and dispute handling.
- Cards: issuing and funding virtual or physical cards, subject to the issuer’s terms.
- Support and notifications: chat, email and in-app messages.
Features depend on your region, verification level and availability, and some may be withdrawn or limited at any time.
7. Risks
- Volatility: prices of Digital Assets can change sharply and you may lose all of your capital.
- Irreversibility: blockchain transactions are final. Funds sent to a wrong address, a wrong network or a wrong asset type may be permanently lost.
- Technology and network risks: congestion, forks, protocol bugs, validator failures, smart-contract flaws, stablecoin de-pegging, delays and fee spikes are outside our control.
- Regulatory risks: laws on digital assets change and may affect the Service or your ability to use it.
- No deposit insurance: balances held on YEDA are not bank deposits and are not covered by any deposit-guarantee scheme.
- No advice: information on the Service is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Decide for yourself, or consult a qualified professional.
8. Wallets and custody
Balances shown in your account are recorded in YEDA’s internal ledger. Blockchain deposit addresses are generated for you from a hierarchical-deterministic wallet operated by YEDA; YEDA controls the corresponding private keys, which we keep protected (see our Privacy Policy, “Security”). You are the owner of the balances in your account, subject to these Terms, to our right to freeze or set off amounts as described below, and to applicable law. We do not lend, pledge or otherwise use your Digital Assets for our own account without your instruction. Deposits sent to your address are pooled and moved between YEDA-controlled addresses for operational, security and liquidity reasons.
9. Deposits and withdrawals
9.1 Deposits
- Send only the exact asset and on the exact network shown for the address (for example USDT on TRON (TRC20), USDT or USDC on Polygon or on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), TRX, BTC). The network name and the address are shown in the application; please check them before every transfer.
- Deposits are credited after the number of network confirmations we require for that asset. Deposits below any minimum we publish may not be credited.
- If you send an unsupported asset, use a wrong network, or send from a service that does not allow withdrawals to smart contracts, the funds may be lost. We are not obliged to recover them; if we agree to try, we may charge a recovery fee and cannot guarantee success.
- Your deposit address is for your own use. Do not use it for third-party payments, for mixing services, for unlawful activity, or for receiving funds you do not own.
9.2 Withdrawals
- Check the destination address and network carefully: withdrawals cannot be cancelled or recovered once broadcast.
- A withdrawal may require your transaction PIN and, depending on amount, risk score or destination, manual review and approval by our team, which can take additional time. We may decline or delay a withdrawal for security, legal or compliance reasons.
- We apply network fees and platform fees, shown before you confirm, and daily or per-transaction limits that may vary by verification level.
- Transfers to another YEDA user’s address may be processed internally, instantly and without network fees.
- If the outcome of a withdrawal is uncertain (for example a network timeout), we may keep the funds reserved until we have verified the result before refunding or confirming.
9.3 Errors
If a credit or transfer is made by mistake, including a duplicate or incorrect amount, we may reverse it and debit or set off the amount from your balance. You must promptly tell us about any error in your favor.
10. P2P trading
- YEDA provides the marketplace, escrow and dispute service; YEDA is not a party to the trade between buyer and seller. You are responsible for the terms you agree with the other party.
- To place advertisements you must be an approved trader and accept the trader conditions and fees shown in the application.
- When an order is opened, the crypto is locked in escrow. The buyer must pay the seller using the method shown and mark the order as paid; the seller must release the crypto only after confirming that the payment was actually received in their account. Never release crypto before the funds have cleared in your own account, and never release it on the basis of a screenshot alone.
- Pay and receive only through accounts in your own name. Third-party payments are a common fraud pattern and may be refused or reversed.
- All communications about an order must take place in the in-app chat. Messages are stored and may be reviewed by our support team to resolve disputes. Do not move the conversation to other channels and do not share personal credentials.
- If there is a dispute, we may ask both parties for evidence. We decide the outcome (release the crypto to the buyer or return it to the seller) based on the information available, and our decision is final within the Service, without prejudice to your legal rights.
- Unpaid orders may be cancelled automatically after the payment window shown in the application, and the crypto returned to the seller.
- Fraud, abuse, repeated cancellations, insults or attempts to defraud the other party or YEDA may lead to restriction, loss of trader status, and reporting to the authorities.
11. Buying and selling with fiat
- Buying crypto: you request a purchase, pay the amount shown through the selected payment method with the reference provided, and may upload proof of payment. We credit the crypto only after we have verified that the money was received; the amount delivered may be adjusted to the amount actually received. A purchase request that remains unpaid (without proof of payment) after the period shown in the application may be cancelled automatically, in which case nothing is debited from your crypto balance.
- Selling crypto: the crypto is reserved (debited) from your balance when you place the order, and we pay the fiat amount to the payout account you chose. If we are unable to pay you within the period shown in the application, or we cancel the order, the reserved crypto is returned to your balance.
- Rates, fees and minimum or maximum amounts are shown before you confirm. Make sure payout details are correct: we are not liable for payments sent to details you provided.
- Payments must come from and go to accounts in your own name. We may refuse or return funds that do not meet this rule.
12. Swaps
A swap converts one Digital Asset into another at the quoted rate, which may include a margin and fees shown before you confirm. A confirmed swap is final. Quotes are valid for a short time; market movements before confirmation can change the price.
13. Cards
- Cards are issued by our regulated issuing partner and operate on a card network. Card issuance requires completed KYC, and availability depends on your country. The issuer’s and the card network’s terms, fees, limits and restrictions also apply.
- You fund a card from your YEDA balance; funding fees and minimum amounts are shown before you confirm. Funds loaded on a card may not be recoverable once spent or charged.
- Keep your card details, CVV and PIN secret. Report loss, theft or suspected fraud immediately so we can freeze the card.
- We are not responsible for merchants, for declined transactions caused by the issuer, the network or the merchant, or for services provided by the issuer or the card network.
14. Fees and limits
We charge the fees displayed in the application for the relevant service (for example network fees, withdrawal fees, swap margin, P2P fees, card fees). Fees are shown before you confirm an operation and may change; the fee shown when you confirm applies. Network fees depend on blockchain conditions and are not refundable. We may set and change limits (per transaction, per day, per verification level) for risk and compliance reasons. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your activity.
15. Your responsibility and prohibited use
You agree not to, and not to help others to:
- use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, scams, theft, or any unlawful purpose;
- provide false, forged or stolen identity or payment details, or use another person’s account or payment account;
- manipulate markets, exploit errors, or attempt to obtain funds you are not entitled to;
- interfere with or attack the Service (including scraping, reverse engineering, overloading, bypassing security or limits, or automated access without our permission);
- harass, threaten or defraud other users or our staff, or post unlawful, abusive or misleading content in chats or profiles;
- use the Service for gambling, illicit goods or services, or any activity prohibited in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and for declaring and paying your taxes.
16. Sign in with Google and communications
You may optionally sign in with your Google account. We use only your verified email, your name and your Google account identifier to authenticate you and link the sign-in to your YEDA account, as described in our Privacy Policy. Google sign-in is provided by Google and subject to Google’s terms. We may keep other sign-in controls, including verification codes, even when you sign in with Google.
You consent to receive service communications (verification codes, confirmations, security alerts, notices about these Terms) by email, push notification, in-app message or phone, and these are not marketing. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
17. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, such as identity verification, blockchain infrastructure, payment and mobile-money partners, card issuers, messaging, hosting and notification providers. We choose them carefully but we do not control them, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, outages or legal compliance, except where the law says otherwise. Their services may be subject to their own terms.
18. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim for a reliable Service but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or restrict all or part of the Service for maintenance, upgrades, security, regulatory reasons, network problems or circumstances beyond our control (“force majeure”). During maintenance, sign-in or financial operations may be temporarily unavailable; your balances remain recorded on your account. We may add, change or withdraw features, supported assets, networks, payment methods and countries.
19. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we give no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, YEDA, its affiliates, directors, employees and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data, nor for losses arising from market movements, blockchain or network events, third-party failures, your errors (such as wrong addresses or networks), your failure to secure your credentials, or unauthorized access that is not caused by our gross negligence.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount of fees you paid to YEDA in the six (6) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, for loss of funds that we are legally responsible for, the value of the affected funds if that is lower.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for fraud or intentional misconduct, or any mandatory consumer rights you have.
20. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate and hold harmless YEDA and its affiliates, directors, employees and partners against claims, losses, penalties and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or your violation of another person’s rights.
21. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend, restrict or close your account, or refuse or delay operations, if we suspect fraud or unlawful activity, if you breach these Terms, if verification fails or is incomplete, if you pose a risk to other users or to the Service, or if the law or an authority requires it.
- We may freeze funds for as long as needed for an investigation or to comply with an order of a court, regulator or other competent authority. Where the law allows, we will tell you why.
- You may close your account at any time after withdrawing your balances and completing pending operations. Closing does not release you from obligations that arose before.
- On closure we return the remaining balance to you by withdrawal to an address you control, less any amounts owed to us and subject to legal checks. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example liability, indemnification, intellectual property, record-keeping and disputes) continue to apply.
22. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, logos and trademarks, belongs to YEDA or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from it, or use our name or logos without written permission.
23. Privacy
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
24. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, write to support@miyeda.com with your account email, a description of the problem and the transaction references. We will acknowledge it promptly and try to resolve it fairly and within a reasonable time. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which YEDA is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the competent courts of that jurisdiction have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
25. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and YEDA about the Service.
- Severability: if a provision is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver: not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your account or rights; we may transfer ours to a successor or affiliate.
- Language: these Terms are available in English and French; if they differ, the English version prevails unless the law requires otherwise.
